PeopleShare is hiring an experienced Warehouse Equipment Operator for a growing distribution facility in Romeoville, IL. This role is ideal for warehouse professionals who have experience with shipping and receiving, inventory movement, order fulfillment, and powered industrial equipment.

What You'll Do
As a Warehouse Equipment Operator, you'll play a critical role in supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring products move safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:
✅ Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers
✅ Operate warehouse equipment, including:
- Reach Truck
- Order Picker
- Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ)
- Sit-Down Forklift
✅ Build, wrap, and stage pallets for shipment
✅ Pick and replenish inventory within warehouse locations
✅ Receive incoming products and verify counts and accuracy
✅ Utilize RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory
✅ Print and apply shipping labels
✅ Inspect pallets, products, and equipment for quality and safety
✅ Accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation
✅ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
✅ Follow all company safety procedures and operational standards
Qualifications
✔ Previous shipping and receiving experience required
✔ 1-3 years of warehouse or distribution experience preferred
✔ Experience operating powered industrial equipment
✔ Reach Truck and Order Picker experience preferred
✔ Turret Truck experience is a strong plus
✔ Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
✔ Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
✔ Safety-first mindset
✔ High School Diploma or GED preferred
